A new workshop with Stuart Hillard making Jelly roll placemats!
Use your favourite fabrics to create gorgeous place mats. Perhaps make some Christmas mats from festive fabrics! You will learn how to make your own jelly roll yarn which you will transform into your place mats.
After the workshop you can go on to make more placemats to complete your set or you could even use this technique to make a rug if you wish to.
Materials you need to bring:
A Jelly Roll or strips from your stash 2.5" wide.
Thread that goes well with your jelly roll, a neutral would work well.
You will need to bring along some wonder clips to the workshop, at least 12-15 clips.
Participants will each receive a roll of Bosal Mini Wadding Strips 2.5″ wide x 25 Yards. worth £13.50. (Additional rolls will be available to buy on the day).
All equipment and sewing machines is provided, plus lunch, Tea, coffee and Homemade cake.
